ALIEN KITCHEN ——
CONCEPT
My concept is a promotional video of a cooking game "Alien Kitchen", combined with the cooking game screen (such as the pause button, moving cursor, and chopping, stirring, and other game prompt signs), some cooking food Animation (such as frying animation, mixer animation, etc.),as well as texts introduction to the game.
The colors of the food and elements in the video are not colors that match reality, but rather weird, with a feeling of alien food. For the style of food, I chose a brush with irregular burrs to paint, which has a hand-painted style.
INSPIRATION
I was inspired by the cooking game I've always enjoyed playing since I was a kid. When I was in elementary school, I played cooking games on my computer, and as I grew up I continued to play it on iPads, mobile phones, and game consoles. So I just wanted to create a cooking game myself and make a promotional trailer for it.
THE TARGET AUDIENCE
As you can see from my storyboard, my videos are mostly cartoonish with bright colors. It is because the Target Audience of my video is kids, and someone who is interested in cooking and hand-painting style games. Because first of all, the style of this video is more attractive to children. The color and style of the video are bright and cute, and this kind of “cartoon style” is very attractive to young children.
