BEIJING 2022 WINTER OLYMPICS ——
INTRODUCTION
This is a set of posters made for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, showing different Winter Olympic sports.
ALPINE SKIING
This is a poster showing the project of alpine skiing. I used overlapping peaks, ski trails, and people at different stages to show the stance and emotions of the runners at different stages of alpine skiing.
LUGE
This poster mainly wants to show the sport of luge. This sport has a very special equipment, which are the gloves with steel spikes. I used this glove as the theme to show the dynamic of a sled runner.
FIGURE SKATING
This poster is about figure skating. The costumes and images of the characters are based on the fairy "Flying Sky" in the Dunhuang frescoes, and the background is the tower of the Forbidden City because the Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing, China. The lightness of the figure skaters is expressed with the streamers on the clothes.
SPEED SKATING
For these 2 posters, I wanted to use photos combined with text to show the movement of speed skating. For the first poster, I used various "keywords" as the background and used these words to shape the layering of the poster. You can feel the words pushing the speed skater forward.
